원예는 식물을 살려 두는 일에서 시작해 재배 환경 자체를 설계하는 데까지 이어집니다. 물과 빛을 맞추고 흙의 배수와 양분을 조절하며, 해당 기후대의 파종 적기를 정하고 번식과 전정으로 개체를 이어 갑니다. 결과가 며칠 뒤가 아니라 한 작기(Cropping Cycle) 뒤에 나오기 때문에, 기록을 남겨 원인을 되짚는 습관이 실력을 가릅니다. 실내 화분 하나부터 노지 텃밭과 공유 재배 공간까지, 기후대와 공간 조건이 달라도 같은 판단 구조가 적용됩니다.
