타자는 머릿속의 문장을 손실 없이 화면으로 옮기는 역량입니다. 손가락 자리를 익히는 데서 시작해 자판을 보지 않는 입력, 실무에서 쓰이는 속도와 정확도, 장시간 입력에서도 흔들리지 않는 지속성, 기호와 단축키가 섞인 작업 환경 최적화로 이어집니다. 상위 단계에서는 자기 속도를 넘어 다른 사람의 입력 효율을 설계하고 입력 방식 자체에 기여합니다.
Develops a standardized copy-typing task across 1,682 participants and reports speed distributions by language and keyboard layout, plus non-linear change with age. Measured basis for where each level draws its speed and accuracy band.
Analyzes 136.9 million keystrokes from 168,960 participants, reporting a mean of 51.56 WPM (SD 20.2), roughly 78 WPM and above for the top 10%, under 26 WPM for the bottom 10%, and a mean uncorrected error rate of 1.167%. Measured basis for the speed and accuracy bands at each level.
Defines the standard learning order: finger positions, then words, then short passages, then long passages. The most widely used typing curriculum in Korea and the authority behind the learning path at the beginner and intermediate levels.
Directs the user to adjust chair and work surface height for a neutral body posture, keep elbows about the same height as the keyboard and close to the body, and raise or lower the keyboard feet to hold straight, neutral wrists. Grounds the Lv.1 posture item and the Lv.4 ergonomic setup item.
